McDonald's Turns Your Fries into a Spotify Playlist!

Do you like McFries? A lot, probably. How about the music? Definitely very much. But if you get to know that the next time you walk into a McDonald's and ask for some McFries you can also avail of some exclusive music access to go with them. Yes, you heard it right. The American fast-food giant has teamed up with Spotify to create special playlists for its customers. This fun campaign is from Latin America and is created by Sao Paulo agency DPZ&T together with Leo Burnett Colombia and sound producer Lucha Libre invites customers to place their McFries on outlines printed on their tray liners. Though, some eating will be required, as some of the fries will have to be shortened to fit the shapes imbibed on the food tray. Using the Spotify app, the customers can then scan the code on the tray liner to call up a playlist named “FriesList” containing themed tracks and voila enjoy your McFriens with some amazing music titles like “FriTops of the Moment,” “I'm Out of Fries” and “Someone Stole My Fries.”

While listening to music about fries might not be everyone's idea of a great time but it's a fun idea on the parts of both McDonald’s and Spotify to get customers interacting while they are in the restaurants. Now, this is called some next level marketing!
